Tonganoxie Elementary School’s very own Shelby Burnett, LMSW, recently attended the School Social Work Association of America’s Delegate Assembly Meeting and Leadership Institute in Buffalo, New York! Shelby served as a representative for the State of Kansas, learning about impactful leadership in social work and strategic planning for non-profit associations.
Lilly Burnett has also been busy, attending multiple therapy dog team visits this summer with Shelby. Most recently, they attended a Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program in Overland Park for newly-discharged military members and their families. Lilly and Shelby are ready to come back to school and spend time with their TES family!
