It is that time of year again: students in grades 1-5 can enter the 75th annual Kansas Farm Bureau Farm Safety Poster Contest. This year's theme is: Safety is Always in Style. If your student is interested, they need to get one of the poster papers from me. Posters can be worked on at home. The artwork and writing on the poster must all be completed by the student. In addition to the state-level prizes mentioned on the poster, there are also county-level prizes.
TES Art teachers must receive the entries by the end of the school day on March 7th. No exceptions will be made, as we have to turn these in to our county representative.
Student's name, age, grade & teacher should be written legibly on the BACK of the poster. Only posters that look “complete” and have the student information on the back will be sent to the county-level contest.
