Our four-legged friends just reminded us that yesterday was Dog Therapy Appreciation Day! Research shows that therapy dogs support psychological & academic growth while increasing social skills & self-esteem in children & adolescents. Shelby Burnett is our prek-5th grade social worker. Her dog Lilly has been specially trained & certified as a therapy dog and is an important part of the TES counseling department's canine intervention program. 🐶💗 #tongienation
