Jaclynn Reyes, a 4th grader at TES, was given a Positive Bus Office Referral from her driver, Andrea Putthoff. Miss Andrea writes, "Another student had 3 bags of food with her this morning. When the student got off the bus, one of her bags tore open. Jaclynn stopped to help the student and then carried 2 of the bags into the school for the student."
Masen Hernandez, a 5th grader at TES, was given a Positive Bus Office Referral from his driver, Pam Plake. Miss Pam writes, "When it was raining and the bus steps were slick, Masen stood at the top and assisted the younger students down the stairs so they would not fall. He is so awesome!"
TES is so proud of Jaclynn and Masen for being such kind and positive role models!

Ladies from the Tonganoxie Public Library came and put on a wonderful interactive presentation for all first grade classes. There were a variety of genres shared in fun ways, including music, chants with actions, costumes, and sound effects. The students LOVED it!

We love to read, and so does our Mahomie, Patrick! Take the Read For 15 Pledge today and commit to reading 15 minutes a day for 15 weeks! 📚📚📚 #tongienation #Mahomies #ReadFor15 #literacymatters

Don't forget to connect your Kinsa thermometer! For every 10 thermometers connected to the Kinsa app between December 1-16, TES will receive 10 canisters of Lysol disinfectant wipes for use in our health room and classrooms! With all the flu, colds and RSV circulating, these wipes will be put to good use! #tongienation
