Congratulations to the Chieftain Swingers Jazz Ensemble for their outstanding performance at the KMEA State Music Convention In-Service Workshop on Thursday, February 22, 2024! The group performed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Ballroom in Wichita. The selection process involved submitting 2023 performance recordings for review, which were blindly screened by an independent review committee through an extensive series of steps. The Chieftain Swingers Jazz Ensemble is the first instrumental performing ensemble in USD 464 history to achieve this great honor!
