On March 2, the THS Powerlifting team competed in the 4A State Powerlifting Meet in Wellington, Kansas. The boys team placed 4th with 111 points, while the girls team placed 5th with 72 points. State Champion in their weight class was Emma Lorfing (123), 2nd Place in their weight class was Gavin Shupe (165) and Tommy Messersmith (173), 3rd Place in their weight class was Alaina Lorfing (132), 4th Place in their weight class was Zach Fisher (PWT) and Jamison Lorfing (114), 5th Place in their weight class was Colton Wiehe (132) and Chandler Smith (140), and 6th Place in their weight class was Johanna Boone (148).
