This week, HOSA-Future Health Professionals students Santiana Garcia, Taylor Igleheart, Jackson McWilliams, Keziah Slinkard, Jameson Breitzman and Julia Staples competed at the 2024 Kansas HOSA Spring Leadership Conference at Kansas State University. HOSA is an international career and technical student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Technology Education Division of ACTE, whose mission is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience.

Students competed in events such as CPR/First Aid, Creative Problem Solving, Physical Therapy, and Behavioral Health.  

Taylor Igleheart placed first in AAFP Family Medicine. Jackson McWilliams and Jameson Breitzman placed third in Creative Problem Solving.  HOSA is sponsored by THS science teacher Kyla Dominick.
