Congratulations to Mrs. Kelly Hoopes on being named the Kansas Secondary Assistant Principal of the Year by the Kansas Principals Association! The Assistant Principal of the Year program recognizes outstanding middle & high school assistant principals who have succeeded in providing high-quality learning opportunities for students and demonstrating exemplary contributions to the profession. Each year, the State Assistant Principal of the Year winners are submitted for consideration to be the National Assistant Principal of the Year.
Mrs. Hoopes will speak at the Kansas Principals Conference in Wichita in November. In April, she will represent Kansas at Trailblazing Leadership Week in Washington, D.C., a national conference facilitated by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP).
Mrs. Hoopes has made a huge impact on THS and we are lucky to have her! Congratulations, Mrs. Hoopes!
