Warrior Basketball hit the court again yesterday, with the 8th grade boys playing at home and the 7th grade team traveling to Eudora.

The 8th grade squad faced tough competition and fought hard throughout both games. The B Team battled but came up short, losing by 10, while the A Team fell by 12 in a competitive matchup. Theyā€™ll look to bounce back on Thursday when they travel to Woodland Springs.

The 7th grade team had two nail-biters on the road. The B Team put up a strong fight, ultimately falling by just 5 points. Gehrig Eastes had a standout performance, showing increased aggressiveness on both ends of the floor. The team demonstrated solid help defense and even executed "helping the helper" well. However, rebounding and physicality remain areas for improvement as they continue to grow.

The A Team also found themselves in a tight contest, pushing the game into overtime for the first time this season. In a thrilling finish, they pulled off a 44-41 victory, with Nathanael Meitler sinking two clutch free throws in the final moments to help secure the win. With this victory, they start the second half of the season at 1-0.

The boys are back on the court Thursday, with the 8th grade team traveling to Woodland Springs and the 7th grade team playing at home. Come out and cheer them on as they continue to develop their skills and compete as a team!
