The TMS Boys Basketball season has officially come to an end, marking months of hard work, improvement, and team growth. Throughout the season, the players demonstrated dedication and progress, making it a rewarding experience for both athletes and coaches. The 8th grade team wrapped up its season with two home victories against Louisburg. Bruce Moore delivered a strong performance off the bench, playing a key role in the B-Teamā€™s success. The A-Team secured a thrilling 39-38 win, closing out the season with a 5-9 record. The 7th-grade team faced a challenging road matchup at Louisburg. The B-Team battled in a hard-fought contest but ultimately fell short. The A-Team started strong and played well for the first two and a half quarters before Louisburg gained momentum with a decisive run that shifted the game. Despite falling in the championship game, the players fought until the final whistle. A highlight of the night was the support from our girls basketball team, who traveled to cheer on their classmates. Their presence reflected the growing camaraderie and school spirit among the 7th-grade athletes, a promising sign for the future of our program. Thank you parents; your support made coaching that much more memorable and enjoyable. While the season has come to an end, the memories, growth, and teamwork will leave a lasting impact. #tongienation #usd464

Back at it again! Both the 7th and 8th grade teams took on Clark Middle School, with the 8th grade coming out strongā€”both teams secured wins! šŸ’Ŗ šŸ”„ B-Team put on a solid performance, winning by double figures. šŸ”„ A-Team dominated in the second half, pulling away for a 20+ point victory! Mason Reischman had a great 3rd quarter off the bench and made a major contribution to the run. Big men also held it down all night! šŸ‘ Congrats to the 8th graders for wrapping up their regular season! Next stop: HOME GAME on Thursday! The 7th grade teams had a tough night, dropping both games. Struggles with rebounding and stopping ball penetration led to close lossesā€”B-Team by 8 and A-Team by 2. But the season isnā€™t over yet! The A-Team is still fighting and will face Louisburg on Thursday for the Frontier League Title. We would appreciate all the support in this endeavor and we PROMISE to bring our best! - Coach Sandburg #tongienation #usd464

TMS Boys Basketball is back! šŸ€šŸ”„ After two weeks off due to the wild weather, the TMS boys were back in action last night! The 8th grade teams traveled to Forest Spring, while the 7th graders held it down at home. 8th Grade Recap: The boys faced off against the best team in the South Division of the Frontier League, and while they came up short, they battled hard. The B-Team lost a heartbreaker by just one point, while the A-Team fell by 20+ to a tough opponent. Despite the results, they made their opponents earn it! 7th Grade Recap: The B-Team shook off the rust from the long break and pulled out a 15-point win, though the head coach knows they can play at a higher level. The A-Team locked in on defense, holding their opponent to just 21 points and securing a 20-point victoryā€”even with key players Witte and Marks in foul trouble! The boys are back at it Tuesday vs. Clarkā€”7th grade at home, 8th grade on the road. Come out and support! #tongienation #usd464
